What grease gun are you using??

Lever gun, pistol gun, pneumatic gun. All are a pain in the arse.

Time to get into the 21st century & get a Milwaukee 12VDC cordless. I see Amazon has 'em for $181.

Thanks to TBN'rs for the tip!

Just remember to grab one with the free extra XC battery, mines on the way from Toolbarn.

This the gun I have been using for 50+ years. It was my fathers, so it may have 20 or 30 more years of service. It has never failed or needed parts. The hose on it is one I use for greasing the wet bolts on my trailer with a right angle tip. The original hose and connector still works good.

I have the same gun (somewhere). Both of my manual guns are lever type. The other is an Atwoods. Never had a pistol grip style. I now have the 18v Milwaukee and will never go back. As for being faster, maybe a little bit but it's just so much easier to find the fitting, clean it off, put the connector on it, and just pull the trigger. You don't have to think at all about the grease gun, you just focus on the fitting and joint. Plus, at least for me, there's no mess. I was forever getting a little grease on my had then a little more, and then the other hand and soon the grease gun. Now I just use a disposable glove on one hand. Neither of my manual guns had a case so they were always getting dirty and getting grease on things. Now it's safely in a plastic case. Plus I have extra batteries for my other 18v tools.

Are those Bobcat branded pistol grip grease guns any good? I have seen a few people with them. I really just need a good pistol grip grease gun. I like using the battery powered guns at work when someone else has bought them! Honestly work really well under trucks and trailers. For excessive greasing either a pneumatic or a electric grease gun is a must!! For me I really like the pneumatic option, after all I will need a good air compressor to run my air tools so why not have my own pneumatic grease gun? (I have a small air compressor but use my friends larger air compressors with my air tools)

I have a single shot air grease gun which is ok. I used a guns matco continuous shot grease gun multiple times and really liked it, very fast to grease items and puts out a constant high pressure for the most part.

so for me its the john deere, a Lincoln, bobcat, or a legacy grease gun. I really didn't like how the piston and other parts of my performance tool branded grease gun started to ooze grease.

Thanks for all the input and replys! One of the best tools I have seen is a tool that goes onto a grease fitting, and can force penetrating oil through the fitting to free seized grease fittings. Very nice product

They seem to be good quality. I use the pistol grip about as much as the Lincoln.

Wish I knew who made the bobcat grease gun. I would just buy the brand. Lever grease guns don't work in all the places I need them to. Thanks XfaXMAN

I like the looks of that adaptor, but don't see it listed on the Bobcat Store site. Where did you find it, and what brand is it?
Thanks.
I have had it for a long time, don't remember where it came from. Tractor Supply, NAPA or any auto parts store should have it.
