What grease gun are you using??

The only one I ever used regularly was a 40 year old Lincoln and it was easy to charge and as good as a grease gun could possibly be without having someone else do it for you. That said, I let it go with my old Peterbuilt and every grease gun I have had since has been a pin in the rear. I was just about to buy another manual Lincoln, but enough of you on here are singing the praises of the 18v Milwaukee that I think I will give it a try. Thanks for all the input.

really wish I had one too , should have bought a few before 1986

If I had bought enough of them for 1980's prices, I could have retired in the Bahama's.

Who would have thought such a cheap and easy to mfg gun would ever be worth so much , but I guess that is what legislation is all about

just about makes me sick when I see what a Mac or Uzi goes for now , but now legislation is doing the same to semi-auto

Alemite Screw Type Grease Gun C600
Two for each shop. I will no longer have the excuse that the grease gun is not nearby.

Newbury, Let us know how well it works. I have never seen that style, wonder how much pressure you can get compared to a lever action.

I have a HF air operated grease gun. Probably gone through 5 cases (or more) of grease tubes over the past ten or so years I've owned it. Still pumps fine. No leaks.

I tried mine today with the tube of grease that was in it already. I greased my girlfriends aunts suburban front end. Had ten grease fittings that never been touched. Single shot air operated harbor freight grease gun that cost 20$. My friend had used it several times on the trucks he owned when he was a owner operator. Worked well but upset him a lot when he ran out of grease. When it would run out of grease it would pump all the same made the same sounds. I told him that did not bother me so he actually gave me the grease gun for free with grease in it. I have to give it 5 STARS!! Worked so well and obviously had been used a lot. I ran some air tool oil through it and it preformed perfectly. I know a guy that purchased an air operated off the matco truck for $70 that was continuous shot. The matco one worked well also. So for anyone that doesn't mind greasing with air power using an air compressor there are several options out there that preform well.

On another note, I have nothing against cordless powered grease guns. They preform well and are worth it if you have a lot of equipment to grease. For me I only own one half ton pickup and there are two tractors in Michigan. Working at my new job I have greased trucks with the cordless Lincoln grease guns and it works well. Im pretty stuck on the lower price of a pneumatic if you already have an air compressor. To each his own but grease is cheap and parts are not!!

How does the milwakee 18volt compare to the Lincoln?
