What Happened to Bird?

Ron, I was too tired to find the camera. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif However, the one bench I made is almost exactly like these two I made down on the farm. The only difference is the fact that my old ones had 3/4" inch particle board and Lowe's didn't have any, so I settled for 5/8" and I made the legs longer; i.e., taller bench. You know as you get older, you like to get your work up closer to your eyes. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif And since I don't have a radial arm saw or saw horses now, it was more work cutting material with a circle saw on the breezeway steps and getting up and down from the floor drilling pilot holes and putting the screws in. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I don't like to use nails for something like this, so it was all countersunk screws.

Well, now that you reminded me, Ron, I found the camera. This is one side of the shop taken from near the back door.

And this is from the front door, looking toward the back on that same side. I've got to get a window unit air-conditioner to go in that window.

WOW! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif That's a gorgeous shop.

And on the other side, all I've done is get the beverage container (refrigerator) in, and piling stuff until I get it sorted or trashed. Of course, I do have one chair in front of a fan for break times.

Mike, that shop (and an 8' x 12' lawn equipment storage shed in the back corner of the yard) is what sold me on the place. This is the breezeway. From the back door of the house, on the right, to the front door of the shop, on the left, is 12 feet.

Great looking place, Bird! So, the big question is, will you be getting a tractor?

Mike, since I've found it necessary to be located closer to some family members, as well as my wife's doctors, I figure there's a good chance that my tractoring days are over. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif My little Toro ZTR is about all I need for a 70' x 135' lot. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

So are your helicopter days, but that hasn't slowed you down now, has it? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice looking shop and breeze way. Glad you able to take a break and post pictures. Does shop have A/C and heat? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
