What happened to the "Delete" button?

How many minutes? Sort of eliminates the ability for self-moderation.

Sometimes I post something, then a little voice tells me to re-read it, and I find a bunch of typos, misspellings, and other fun things. I'll fix it then, but after it's been up for a day or so, I just let it go and will post a different response with the corrections.

Evidently the time limit on the Delete button only applies to the first post of a thread.

Okay so we can either do edit and delete function with a time limit, or edit function with no time limit, but no delete. Thoughts?

Edit and delete functions with time limit.

It doesn't make sense to be able to go back in time endlessly and edit or delete posts. If something is that egregious that it should be deleted, it could be reported and removed upon request. If it's something minor with some mild flaws, or misinformation, a follow up post in a thread should take care of the correction.
