What happens to the steering when.......

Hello,
I have 2 L3000 and a L2500, all with FEL and power steering, and was wondering what happens when you completely turn the front weels 'till they move no more, and you still hold the steering at that position, the hydraulics still make a noise, but is there a pressure valve that opens to avoid damage somewhere??? or as long as the power steering makes a sound it is pressing hard against the metal stoppers??? the same with the FEL, when you press down with the bucket or try to lift something too heavy and it won't move and you keep constantly pulling or pushing the control lever???

Pressure relief valve… Keeps from breaking things, if you persist at holding after it will go no more, it generates heat and you will eventually break something anyway…

I guess you resolved your pulling power needs? You didn’t post back with what you finally did…KennyV.

interesting you still remember my "need pulling power" post!!! I went to eBay and bought a L3000 with 400 hrs. in California, and got excited and bought another L3000 with 96 hrs. fron a guy in Kentucky and a L2500 from Mississippi.
My wife almost kill me when she found out!!!! Man, you really get addicted to this tractor stuff!!! I told her I would sell 2 of them and keep the L3000 and the B6000. And give her many Xmas presents.....now she is quiet. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
With these "big" tractors, I pull a trailer that I made myself, with like 4000 pounds of grass for the horses!!! Its great!! Thanks for asking.

boy i wish my wife would let me buy three tractors I had to beg borrow and you know the rest to buy a older b7100 backhoe but I dont blame her she let me build a 30 by 40 pole barn this year
