Congratulations on the hard part. I also am a new owner and understand the pain of justifying such a piece of equipment. Luckily the wife finally tired of driving out of the way to go by the Blue dealer in the area and said " Just go buy it ". Now, she is impressed by the things we accomplish around the yard. Course she has asked if I can spend less time in the garage waxing the tractor . hehehehehehe

Congratulations on your purchase. I've had mine now since the end of June and put over 100 hours on it and love it. I've got the 24D w/ hydro/R4s, the 914A MMM rear-discharge, and the 12LA loader w/ the 54" bucket w/ 3 hooks. I also had the block heater and the grill guard. I'm real happy w/ my setup other than the rear-discharge. It takes a little bit of planning to make sure I don't let the grass get too high and I get it cut when it is dry. The other this is with the grill guard. It sticks out on each side past the hood. It makes getting the loader on and off just a touch tight. Makes you see how good of operator you are. I scratched my guard the second time I put my loader back on. Haven't repainted it yet though because as soon as I do I figure I'll do it again. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Other than that you'll love it. Good luck!!! Remember to stop and eat and sleep.

Thanks for the offer! Sounds like a nice place. We are lakeside, too. Nothing better than watching a full moon rise over the lake while sitting next to the fire with a cold one. I can't imagine the wood pile I will have at the water's edge now that I have a FEL to play, oops, work with to transport firewood.

Did your dealer have a TC24D on his lot ? Or does he have to get the tractor from the factor ? The reason I ask these questions is, because two dealers in my area stated to me that the TC24D would not be ready for delivery from the factory till December.

Does anyone have a feel for delivery of the TC24D ?

I have a TC24D on order and will not see it till December. I signed the deal on Sept. 16th. The dealer did a search on the TC24D and found no tractors around.

I just returned from the dealer to take care of some details and he said he has two coming in about one week. He sold two this past week counting mine. I hope it is really on its way. He has all the implements in stock. Has also has had TC24Ds on his lot on a regular basis, seems to sell them within a week or two. Good luck, I hope they come in soon.
