What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

Looks great, quite a project made easier with the MF BH.

Did you saw cut the concrete or sub it out?

Much easier with the BH. I would not attempt that by hand, clay and shale is all we have here.

I cut it. I rented a Husquvarna “”cut and break”.
Basically a double ring saw, designed so you can cut all the way through from the outside.

I had a pretty eventful weekend. Loaded up my dad's trailer attached to his little bx1500 with my GC1710 and the forks. All the wood was either split or chipped at my house around the corner later in the day.

Also, I have an old JD Gyramor 205 rotary cutter that was gifted to me last year. You can see it pictured. I started tearing it down to completely rebuild it. I'll reuse the gearbox plate, rebuild the gearbox itself and use the front and read bands off the deck. I'm also going to modify the design and move the frame on top of the deck and not below it.

Me and my son removed the cab and blower today (like a breath of fresh air going open cab). Put on fel, 3pt lift arms, and grader scraper and graded a couple roads. Most I've done for a month now (except fop wine tasting, beer tasting, and scotch tasting) and feeling very proud of myself. lol

Time to clean out some fallen trees and rocks. Skidded 2 20 something ft logs and my rock pile is certainly growing.
Straps and hooks took these all out of the mass of vines/branches etc. with little effort.

I had 2 stumps that were in the way of mowing. One came up with the FEL. The other ended up being from a pretty big tree though it had looked a lot smaller from the top. BH to work and done!

Lol yes it does. Was built in the 60's so it's had an outstanding run. I hope to rebuild it for another 50 years.

We received about 10"-12" of wet heavy Springtime snow yesterday and the picture below is from about 9am this morning:

Got the deck serviced and mowed and rolled the lawn. (At least the part that isn't a swamp)
