Yes it was 1.5 X 1.5 X .140 square tube ....

Great choice, those forks are going to save you lots of manual labor by being able to scoop under the piles to pick them up, and also being able to stay seated on the tractor.

Got my tractor last month, my debris forks last week, and an ice storm today. It all comes together.

And. . .this was the small tree and single panel of fence. There is a much larger one, taking out three panels, across the way that I have not got to yet. I keep being warned about these clamp on forks not to put too much weight on them or I will bend the bucket. How much it too much? How much tree? Or anything else?

The oak the came down on my property was 60+ foot tall, and about 30 inches in diameter.... Yours is a tooth pick....

So far my lift capacity had been less than the weight I can actually put in bucket with my brush forks... Luckily so far tractor just says "nope ain't going to do it".... Have not broken anything yet, but I keep trying....

Good to know. 60' and 30" is about as big as I have on the property. So, just need to stay under that 900 pound limit.

Well twice yesterday within a 15 minute time period I manage to tip over my 500-600 pound ballast weight... Yes twice and even managed to get one pin wedged into quick hitch and missed other pin and top hook.... Sure glad I had added lift ring in top of weigh when I made it.... Well its upright for now and not where I want it but yesterday was along day and it did not end well..... Moral of dilemma, if making ballast weight put a lift ring on top, and be sure FEL can actually lift it if you are in recovery mode.....

Part of today will be spent assessing damage and repairs (if any)....

Dale
