Shortly after I bought my used hoe I was given a chance to help a buddy and recoup part of my investment. He had taken on a job of suppying and planting 220' of cedar hedge in the area of an old marina/lodge that someone had purchased for use as a family compound.
We had to start at the edge of a dead end cottage road and run cedars to the lake along the property line.
First scoop brought up a multi conductor telephone line.....Turns out the old marina owner had run phone wire for intercom/alarm use many years before.
