They just need to clarify things because customers want to know exactly what they're getting. But in the auto industry, the word "rim" isn't used. It's "wheel".Is there an industry standard single word name for "tire with wheel"?
Drivers have a spare "tire" in their trunk not a spare "tire with wheel", so the terminology is inconsistent.
(I'm nursing a cold and sore throat so I cannot do more useful things so I am asking those in the know about this issue that has made me curious ever since I built my trailer. You'll all probably glad when I'm well.)
