My wife regularly uses poor grammar. I keep my mouth shut about it, because I have to live with her.

My ex's grammar was horrendous. She had made a resume to apply somewhere, Wally World I think, and it was painful to read. I told her the changes to make so it was somewhat more professional looking. Well.... you'd think I killed the pope.
Needless to say I never again attempted to correct her grammar, "Go ahead and look like an uneducated, illiterate ahole, you'll fit right in" Hence the reason we're ex, at least one of them .

One of my pet peeves is receving parts that are made incorrectly, and then having to jump through hoops to get the manufacturer to stand behind their product and give you your money back. Those same companies will not pay for your lost time and labor to redue their errors.

Folks who use an apostrophe for plurals.

Roadside vendors are the worst. Saw a sign once for someone selling "flour's".

YES, self serve checkout is something I dont use. I will walk out if thats the only option. Whats next, come in on Tuesday to unload a pallet before they “allow” you shopping privileges?

I dunno, I like, even prefer it. Scanning items, putting them in a bag and running a credit card isn't rocket science. I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself. Seems a better use of those employees time be doing something useful like stocking shelves instead of leaving pallets/U-boat trucks blocking all the aisles.

Only time I uses a cashier when self-check is available is at Shaw's (supermarket chain) when using a coupon or if it's a marked-down item. For whatever reason they require an employee to scan/enter coupons.

Had an ex-GF like that. She wasn't stupid, but for whatever reason had the literacy of a 3rd grader. It was painful trying to decypher anything she'd written.

And that's where having a mill, lathe, and welder, comes in handy.

I find it quicker and easier to fix things, whenever possible, than spending time on trying to get a replacement.

Nor was mine, it's an ex thing for sure LOL.
While we're on annoying things/exs'. She was addicted to painting, she'd paint a room, get new curtains, bedspread etc to match. "Nope, don't like that' , repaint and refurnish the room yet again less than a couple weeks later. I used to tell her we going to need a new house as this one is getting smaller inside. No word of lie, when we split, she had over dz and a half paint cans in the basement partially full. Enough to paint a small village.
According to my daughter, she's still like that.
