It's probably been mentioned but my pet peeve is tips.
If a tip is expected then it is a charge. Just add it to the menu price so we see what real cost is going in...
To top it off, yiu want 18% for handing it across the counter? Dunkin, Subway, ect.
Even sit down restaurants now the "click on of the suggested tips" is like 18%, 25%, 33%, or other. It used to be 10% was a cheap tip, a good service tip was 15%; now 18% is considered baseline, and 22-25% is for ok/decent service.
Thats about the only "tip" thing I do; wouldn't have a clue what's expected at a nail place, or barber. Bars, I haven't been in one in years, but a $3 beer, its basically expected to be a $5 beer.
You see these things online calling out "cheap skate" celebrities when they "only" tip 50% for a coffee or whatever. Im not trying to pay Dunkin a "living wage" its not a career, its a high-school kids job. If your 50, and still there, thats not on me
