What is the best box blade on the market

I have looked at a number of them (Kubota, Land Pride, King Kutter, etc., etc.) but I found the First Choice to be the best of the bunch. Gary in Indiana bought one and raves about it in a recent post. You should be able to find it easy enough. I am getting my First Choice 48" box blade in about a week and I can't wait. It will fit perfectly behind my Kubota B7500.

Gannon would rate close to the top. They aren't cheap, though.

Bought my 5' king kutter at the local farm store for $329 and really satisfied. Could use a little more fit and finish work but that doesn't move more dirt I guess.
Been a good machine and a good value for the price

I bought a 60" First Choice and am very happy with it. I can't say it's the absolute best on the market because I haven't seen every box blade on the market. I do think it's got to be the best for anywhere close to the money, however.

I didn't look at Gannon, for example, because I knew the price was way out of my league. For that much more money I hope they'd be superior in some way. Even if you can afford it, have you asked yourself if you really need the absolute best one on the market? What do you intend to do with it?

As to mine, the best way I can describe what I bought is that I got better than LandPride quality with superior fit and finish for close to a King Kutter price. Best of all, I got it painted to match my tractor (JD green in my case) at no extra charge. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

They do that, Kubota/Kioti orange, Ford/New Holland blue and red for about everyone else. I posted about mine and even included some pictures if you'd like to see the fit and finish up close. I have no idea which is the "best" one 'cause I ain't seen'em all yet./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif But the best I've personally seen and used for the money was the Monroe Tufline.

I don't know which one is the best, but I do know one that I would not recommend. I bought an All American 6' box blade from ASC, and my L3010 has torn the thing to pieces. The first day I used it, it torn 2 of the scarifiers almost through the center support bar. Had to take it to a welding shop and have a brace built for the center support. I've broken two scarifiers completely in half, and I am currently on my third set of lift pins (bends the heck out of them). Anyway avoid this one for sure.

Again as others have said I don't have experience with other brands, but my Bush Hog BX720 has held up extremely well. Considering I have about 30-40 hours of use on it and use it where limestone is everywhere on my property. It hasn't had any problems, scarifiers are still in tact and no bent brackets or anything. I'm very happy with it and think it is very well built for the price.

Thanks everyone for all the info...so many different brands but the feedback from all of you helps make shopping easier.
I really like the pictures of the First Choice,is there a web site available,I typed in First Choice and did not see a web page.
