Seriously if you ask me I would say that every tractor has made significant improvements in the overall design of every tractor. Every tractor maker at one time or another has made goofs and triumphs. Yes JD is my favorite but I've owned or worked with them all at one time or another. I feel JD is the best but others feel that way about their brand. Now that I can afford to buy what I want I wouldn't buy anything but JD but that doesn't mean I don't think other tractors aren't good as well.
With regards to my post about your posts you don't have any info. in your bio so I was wondering if you did have a tractor and such or just post on here for amusement.

I have a JD 4400 Hydro I have spent 500 hours on it....it has had a few problems,but I still like it.It is an awesome tractor....I grew up driving a Farmall 140.
