Or replacing a fusible link with heavier gauge wire and not trouble shooting why it blew in the first place. It fried the entire lower harness on my L2850. had to get a custom built harness.$$$
I always thought that speed squares came in two pieces... at least mine always look like the one in your picture.Using my equipments tracks or tires as a portable workbench. That was a speed square like top of pic in it's better days.
Not me I think some of the bigger ones are 2 piece, you call it a rafter square? Anyways its in several pieces these days sitting in the scrap bin.I always thought that speed squares came in two pieces... at least mine always look like the one in your picture.
When I was working part time as a boat mechanic one of our pet saying was "If you can't find out why the fuse is blowing put a prop pin in it and look for smoke,"Or replacing a fusible link with heavier gauge wire and not trouble shooting why it blew in the first place. We had a similar saying in the military. "Replace the fuse with a nail and follow the burned wiring back to the faulty component."When I was working part time as a boat mechanic one of our pet saying was "If you can't find out why the fuse is blowing put a prop pin in it and look for smoke,"
The problem for me occured when the fried wire continued to fry the rest of the wires bundled in the harness. We had a similar saying in the military. "Replace the fuse with a nail and follow the burned wiring back to the faulty component."
