Re: What is the FEL \"Float\" position and where is it??
I THOUGHT we had already said that it was.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I have no experience with a front mounted plow and a gravel drive, but it stand to reason that anything that allows the blade to travel with any contours and dips the tires may fall into would be good. The only time I can see it not being good is if it allows the blade to lift up as you go and accumulate snow in front of the blade. I have seen this happen a few times with a rear blade because you are relying on the weight to keep the blade down. There's nothing to lock the 3PH down and keep it from raising like loader arms would on a FEL or front blade.
