I think that due to a lack of new ideas in the last 20 yrs highlites the need for something like the appolo missions again

Even the Space Shuttle is more than 20 years old now.

"The spaceship Columbia has continued the pioneering legacy of its forebears, becoming the first Space Shuttle to fly into Earth orbit in 1981."

Boy, it's really looking like the last 20 years has been a time of improving existing inventions and a real drought of anything new.

The definition of "is", PC (politcally correctivism), mass terrosism, eco terrosism, road rage as a defined action, oh, I could go on but the last 20 years have been all backwards and downhill.
I want the domed cities with free energy and escalator sidewalks and levitating flying cars and orbiting factories and lunar colonies that I was promised in Popular Science, Popular Mechanics and the Weekly Reader of circa 1964.
Well, I know where that all went, the Cold War including Vietnam sucked the economy dry and now just as we are about to recover we have this "war on terrosism" which is nessacary and cannot be avoided to suck us dry for the next 20 years. The shame of all this is that innocents everywhere are having their futures stolen by anarchist diguising themselves for convienece as Muslims. Sooner or later the masks will come of and we will know them for what they are and not what they say they are but before that happens bad things will come our way--so the crows say. J

No reason to get depressed Country Boy.

This is the greatest time in the history of the world to be alive.

We've always had the nutzos wanting to convert the world to their version of perfection.

The one thing that has always saved us from ourselves is our ability as a species to acquire and make use of information. The greatest invention of all time is the internet. If they'd had it in the thirties ****** wouldn't have had a chance. In the fifties McCarthy would have been exposed instantly. The sixties wouldn't have had Viet Nam as an example of war out of control for all the wrong reasons.

Today it's crippling our own right wing religious nuts and sabotaging the ones in the middle east.

The nutzos can try to lead the way to their god--political nirvana but they can't fight information. The fundamentalists of all brands will fail miserably, nature of the beast.
