I have an Iseki TL-1900. There is a lever below the throttle lever that has something to do with the hydraulic lift. There are 3 settings on the lever. Can someone tell me what it's for and what it does?

Pine,

I bet if you go ask your wife she will tell you what it is!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My wife tells me all the time about an owners manual. But when I ask her where her manual is she just throws something at me /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Its for the emergency ejector seat, sounds like it may not be working.

Murph I don't need to ask my wife a thing. If she sees me doing something that I may not look familiar with she immediately tells me what to do and where to go. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Maybe if you posted a pic of the lever, we could get a better idea of what it's for. I'm not familiar with the model, but if I could see it, I may be able to help. You may wish to post the question in OTHER BRANDS/ ISEKI as someone there may be able to answer, but may not come to this section. John

Guess 1. tilt steering
Guess 2. hood release

Disclaimer: These are guesses and only guesses the real answers might not be the same.

Nope...both wrong but I found out what it is. You adjust the height of your 3-point hitch with the normal control for this. Then you can use this lever to raise the lift and return it to the exact height originally set.

Glad you found it... Looked almost like a throttle lock.

Not to be used as a cruise control. (Learned that from first hand experience when driving a Hummer in the Army.) Long story... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

MURPH my lovely bride came with an owners manual back in 63 when we got hitched, but since then the manual has changed and nobody sent me the new revisions. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I remember reading about this lever. It is a big improvement over not having position control where one has to return the lever to neutral when the hitch is at the proper level. Almost always a miss. It's nice to have a "memory" lever so you can return it to where you know it's right. John

I believe that some of the larger New Holland models have a similar feature. I'm thinking it might be real handy for ground engaging implements I reckon.
