What is the next best 3/4 plywood when I can't get marine plywood?

I had a couple of leftover sheets of 'exposure' grade plywood- intended to survive a limited time exposed before becoming the interior of a house. I used it in an exterior application, thoroughly primed with oil base primer then latex top coat. So far its holding up fine.

For a trailer that isn't left outdoors all the time I expect this would be ok.

Have you checked to see if the lumber yards or box stores can order it for you? Menards carries 3/4" marine grade plywood in stock by us ($60 range) but I know there are no Menards close to you. It sure seems like the other box stores could order it for you at a reasonable cost.

Tried that several times, apparently if it's less than a truckload it's not worth their effort.

When we lived in that area I used to get stuff at Barron's. It is a real lumber store, much better quality and selection than the homeowner places. I just checked their website, they have MDO plywood in 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 sizes.

Get a good sheet of plywood for cabinets. It will be great quality. It will not be rated for outside use, but with a couple coats of good paint, it will last forever. I drive by some every day that has been up for more than 30 years.
