My FEL will easily lift the rear tires off the ground with BH on.

I can see that happen if there is something under the FEL but it would have to be pretty tall.

I took some video today piling up limbs the recent snow knocked down. I was tamping the limbs down to compress them and noticed in the video that had I raised the front end much higher I would have rocked back on the bottom of the BH which could lift the rear wheels by changing the pivot point from the axle to the BH. Not something I want to experience. I think I will stop compressing the burn pile quite so aggressively in the future.

I think it’s the same principle as drag cars using wheelie bars. Rock back on the rear bumper and the rear wheels will lift enough to lose contact with the ground

Do you mean pushing down with the loader or lifting up and pivoting over the front axle?

Pivoting over the front axle trying to lift something too heavy... did it a few times when my BX was new and I was trying to dislodge logs from a debris pile that was made by an excavator. I was facing downhill. On flat ground using my forks trying to lift too heavy a pallet, this doesn't happen... it limits out.

Could you lift both back wheels or just one?

Well one completely and the other was very close. I didn't push it.
