What is the spindle RPM for Grooming mowers?

What are the spindle RPMs for Rear-Finish Mowers and Mid-Mount Mowers, assuming 540 PTO speed? I can find tip speed in feet-per-minute, but can't find RPMs.

If you know Tip speed in fpm the formula's pretty simple.

Tip Speed divided by (Blade Length times Pi divided by twelve)

If you have access to Excel the formula is.

B1/(B2*3.1416/12)

Where B1 is tip speed in FPM and B2 is Blade Length in inches.

I think (don't hold me to this) that OSHA limits tip speed on mower blades to 19000 fpm.
All you then need is blade length to figure rpm.

Don't try to go over the speed of sound at the blade tip ... nothing good will come from that!

17000 fpm is approx mach .25
Mach 1 is the speed of sound.

Mower blades top out at around 19000fpm.
