In the 2005 time frame, Kioti changed the engine design. Previously, the manual and electrical engine shutoffs were located on the cover plate just below the IP. On the new version the electrical stop solenoid moved to the front of the engine and the cover plate below the IP became the oil fill port. But the oil fill cap on top of the valve cover remained.
As far as I can tell, ALL CK30H models used the new engine arrangement so it's odd that a CK30H manual showed the old fill port unless they just used the old CK30 (which could be old or new configuration, depending on serial number) manual. What is the publication date on the back of your Owner's Manual?
When I bought my used 2006 DK45S(with the new engine configuration) my dealer gave me a manual (dated Jan 2005) that showed the old engine configuration.

I subsequently bought another DK45S owners manual (Dated Oct 2007) that shows the new fill port, like yours.

My more recent owner's manual also shows a different maintenance schedule (which agrees with the service manual) compared to the older one. I might add that the only available service manual for the DK45S shows the old (wrong) engine configuration but seems correct otherwise.
