You kidding? You not seen all the people with those utterly STUPID HUGE watches! And they no doubt have a cell phone, they probably carry 24/7 that I'm guessing has a clock.

Yes but (there's always a 'yes but') When that saying first started men wore jackets and the wallet was carried in the inside pocket of the jacket. The watch was a pocketwatch on a chain across the waistcoat on the other side to the wallet.

Well I have a cellphone but habits win out and I rely on my watch.
Funny, friends that all have cells always ask me what time it is.
On the other hand my stomach usually lets me know when to eat without looking at my watch.

Oh I am sure they sell some watches sush as those, but I would think nowhere near the quantity they used to sell. People just use their phone, as I do.
