My favorite sports quote is attributed to St Louis Cardinals great, Bob Gibson. He was once asked what he would have done had he ever pitched to Babe Ruth....His reply;

"I would have thrown TWO pitches right at his chin".

When asked why TWO pitches, Gibson replied, "So he'd know the first one wasn't a mistake".
