Back in the early '70's' two of the most popular bumper stickers were:

"Save the Whales" and

"No Nukes"

This induced another popular bumper sticker that said:

"Nuke the Whales"

I don't live by the creed (life's too short) but one of my favorite sayings is from 'Archie Bunker':

"revenge is the best way to get even"

I usually follow it up with one of my own...

"I can make 'George Hayduke' look like your Fairy God Mother"

All the talk of bumper stickers got me thinking. Several years ago, there was a progression of them that began:

NO FEAR (IIRC, that was a brand of sportswear)

Then,
