I’m noticing more and more as I attend meetings and make presentations to younger and younger ‘folks’ that my Old Sayings and metaphors are getting less and less smiles if not blank stares.
Sad to say, it is a new world. Not so sure I like it.

My wife thinks I am stupid because I use old sayings and speak in metaphors. I think she is stupid because she doesn't and doesn't understand them. I figured it was because I am from south texas and she is from north new york.

Long trip on the road yesterday. 17 stops. I bet half of them, I heard either "no problem" or " "have a good one". The last stop, I was dead tired and didn't get what I came in for. I felt like telling the friendly young man, yes, it is a problem now, And ask, him, a good one? A good what?
I guess all sheep sound pretty much the same. shouldn't be a surprise.
