I’m noticing more and more as I attend meetings and make presentations to younger and younger ‘folks’ that my Old Sayings and metaphors are getting less and less smiles if not blank stares.

My wife thinks I am stupid because I use old sayings and speak in metaphors. I think she is stupid because she doesn't and doesn't understand them.
