What is your MOST favorite fall task?

My favorite thing...after getting all the wood I need for the year, is turning that outdoor boiler thermostat up to any temperature I want and knowing not one dime of mine is going for Arab oil. At least not for heating anyway.

For me, getting a break from the constant routine of yard and garden care plus being able to play with all my snow removal toys.

Agreed --- except for the snow removal part. I do not like snow.

Living on an apple orchard, I love the rush of the fall harvest. We have lots of larger tractors here on the farm, but I have enjoyed putting my little John Deere 2320 to good use hauling bins of pumpkins, wood, power generators for outings and even moving around portable ATMs to our pick your own locations!

Nice pics...apple harvest locally was TERRIBLE this year....freezing earier in year destroyed most of the buds. Just wondering, what is the round black tube on your ROPS for? To stash $$ you get out of the ATM? :laughing:

The local apples here in Scotland barely turned red this year with the lack of warmth and sunlight.

I pray it's better next year.
