Ken, what i find odd is, that you have a manequin head to store your hearing protection on.

Or................... is that your wife's first husband????

Quite a few years back, a buddy worked at a place that painted those heads for some sort of fake companion to ride as a passenger in a car to make it appear a woman was not alone and would feel safer driving in undesirable areas, but I think they got used a lot for people to drive in the commuter lane on certain highways. He had some extras, and I thought they were pretty cool, especially for Halloween "tricks" :D.
I used to use the iPod with it clipped on my belt, but I was always bumping it and changing the song or catching the cord, even when I ran it under my shirt, This way it works great, no accidental changing anything and I can adjust it easier than when it was on my belt. When I'm done with it, just take it off, no more fussing with the cord. I originally bought the iPod classic, but since the only time I would use it was when doing yard stuff I felt it was too big and in the way, so I returned it and bought the shuffle. I really like this setup. The first noise cancelling headphones I bought were John Deere headphones. The noise cancellation worked great, but the sound quality was horrible, so I ended up with a set from Costco which actually cost less but had vastly superior sound. They are made by Ableplanet. I highly recommend the over the ear noise cancelling type to the standard earmuffs, even without the music. As soon as you turn on the noise cancellation circuitry the difference is amazing.

Also consider a marine radio as they tend to be more vibration resistant and repel the elements very good, whic includes dust as many have plastic seals that flip up to access the front panel and cd changer, get one with a remote and you'll be in during chore time!

Some of you guys are spending way too much time in your tractor. If I started watching TV in mine it is hard to say what kind of damage I could do. ;)

No The radar detector is located between the dvd player and the windshield, can't be seen in this photo.
That is the OAS sensor (Operator awareness sensor) If the operator falls asleep while watching a movie the oas sensor will place the tractor in neutral, idle it down, lower the bucket or blade and send a signal to the coffee maker located next to where the factory cup holder was. Then the updated Kubota seat will gently nudge the operator so he can rewind the movie. Operator wakes up has a hot cup of coffee and continues to watch the movie, works well never caused any damage. I'm surprised you haven't heard of them Hottest thing in Europe.

To satisfy my need for tunes while blowing snow I went ahead and purchased a set of worktunes manufactured by Peltor. These have the digital readout, AM/FM and M3 input plug! Work great and not too expensive.
