I just got around to weighing this box blade. Would anyone like to take a guess on how much it weighs before I post. I used a crane scale to get to the exact pound

My guess is 850 pounds.

I have no idea so I'm going to guess just under 500 lbs.... Call it 490. And thanks for the fun.

Looks like you are confused on the way box blades are measured.

Yours is 73 inches side to side, that is the width.

And 31 inches front to back, that is the length.

And since it is a little bigger than I thought, I am going to increase my guess to 950 pounds.

Not many participants but Xfaxman for the win with a very close guess of 950! Only 8% off

Total weight came in at 1035.5 (took one scarifier off so probably another 10 lbs)

Weighed it with a crane scale and a chain hoist. I made a vid if you want to check it out. Just skip toward the end. I weighed my bucket and forks so you can just skip that Unless you want to know what a kioti 72 bucket weighs

Your crane scale should have a button to zero the reading after you hang the chain hoist and chains.

On mine it is labeled "Tare":
