What kind of dogs do you own?

A Bernese Mountain dog female will be a 1yro. in Nov.2012. Very good family dog.
Mountain cur about 10yro. great for keeping unwanted varmints off the place and a good squirrel and coon hunter.

here is my boy, he is Husky-Lab mix very smart and has a hole digging streak in him. today he got a bath, put him in the back yard and rinsed off my feet. walked over to the gate and he was covered in mud! I swear 30 seconds or less had gone by... :rollin: eyes... SO 2nd rinse time and now he is sleeping at my feet.

and last x-mas with new bone

just a week or two back now he is 5 yrs old.

he rides well in back of the truck but stick him inside, he turns green and ralphs post hast! almost funny as we take along a trash can and he sticks his head in a lets it fly... never makes a mess inside the house if he ate something that was too slow to get away and makes him sick he will go for the toilet or trash can to barf in hahaha

just a week or two back now he is 5 yrs old. His only "HABBIT: is blankie collecting and towel collecting. started as a puppy with the fuzzy lap blanket mom has, dont take anything from the bed but leave a towel on the floor and he will grab it quick

Ive always had Labs, til last year. My grand baby had to give up her Boston Terrier because they moved. That little guy has become one of the best friends Ive ever had. Wally

Some may remember we lost our 12 yo boxer Ruby 2 weeks ago and posted in a separate thread.

These are the ones still keeping us on our toes. All boxers. The pics were taken by our 6 yo granddaughter using her iPad.




















1st is Kalani, 5 yo last Monday, Mom to the 3 young ones
2nd is Flash, 4 yo last April and Dad to the 3 young ones. Brought him in from New Zealand - cost me more than my first brand new car.
3rd is Pele, she was 3 on Jul 3.
4th is MacArthur, he will be 2 in Aug.
Last, but not least is Clementine, littermate to Mac.

Right now, all but Flash are asleep on my bed next to my granddaughter watching Dr Doolittle on DVD.

needs a tag team partner outdoors, so we are looking for a large guardian dog that can help keep the wildlife away from the house. probably through SPCA by end of summer
