How many do you have if its just a few I'd go to a good hydraulic shop and get some sets male and female that are "local based" and known source and replace both ends.

tom

Tom,

I considered that, and probably will eventually- especially if I decide to replace this valve and go with the larger one. The openings will be larger :)

For now, just want to get the right one or two for a pressure gauge setup.

Geez, it shouldn't be so hard to figure this stuff out  It's like a giant "hole in space" when looking for specs of these components. Guess it's made worse by the mfgrs trying to "hide" the info so they can brand and sell some items at obscene markups.

I don't mind paying a reasonable price to support a healthy dealer network, but recently had a good dealer price a part for me. Mahindra wanted $38 for the same part Grainger had for $1.70 (!) That's 2200%

Okay, rant over :p Part of it is my fault. I'm in an area I don't have expertise in and that makes it more frustrating. Thank goodness the good folks at TBN are so knowledgeable (and patient!).

Also- I imagine there are others out there with the same hydraulic setup that came on my Mahindra. Hopefully these posts will help the next guy, too.

Aaron,

This is also what I thought, ISO 7241-A (what is "1A"? Is it different?).

The full name for the specification is ISO 7241-1 Series A. It is common for some people to abbreviate the name somewhat (7241-A or even ISO-A), but they are all referring to the same thing.

In the 1/2" size ONLY, the ISO 7241-1 Series A is also interchangeable with ISO 5675 (Agricultural Interchange).

if memory serves me well-- it's a brunner or brunning coupler and is fully compatible with pioneer couplers. Remember dad having them when I was a kid.

So, is there anyway to know for sure if the ISO 7241-1a would be the same as a Parker 6600?

I am looking for some Parker 6600-6-6 but am "guessing" that the above in the 3/8 size would be the same.
