What kind of vintage car do you wish you had?

Would love to have an old school Dodge Power Wagon from the 60’s and drop a 5.9L/allison/7 speed spicer EZ shift in it.
They had an optional PTO winch and rear PTO shaft from the factory!

Those trucks were a tank to be sure. There's a guy around here who has one, got a bumper sticker on it that says "Dodge Power Wagon 0 to 60 NEVER"

He brought it to a local car show one year, I took a look inside...the gas pedal was positioned such that you had to have your right foot on the transmission hump. Sure wouldn't want to take a long trip like that!

I could be mistaken, but believe this ad is a bit older than that. That looks more like a '50s vintage ad. By 1960 they had done away with the exterior front fenders and gone to the integrated front clip which we still see today.

You could very well be right, 60’s was just a guess. My dad worked for a mason who had one back in the 50’s and he would tell me stories about how tough they were.
The hood, grille, fenders and headlight buckets are a work of art, in my opinion.

Two tours in South East Asia and in 1972 I came
home and paid $3200 cash for this new. Loved it but a pregnant wife in 1974 and a collection of 17 points on my drives license..... the car had to go.

You can buy a modernized Power Wagon, after you win the lottery.

LOVE the radiator cap through the hood and the hanging windshield wipers. Vintage American artwork!
