I have to agree with you. I love the original cars, and it makes me sad to see an old classic hot rodded.Who would bastardize a magnificent Model A, with a less than original car engine and an A/C?

Never had a Studebaker, the company went under right around the time I turned 16. Back then I just thought they were a weird car, but in the late 70s I worked with a guy who was a fan and had several of them (and a few that were just parts cars). I was surprised how advanced they were for their day.The Studebaker club has it's annual meeting here every few years. Many are completely stock. Many are mildly customized. Many are heavily modified. All are welcome and enjoyed.![]()
