The Studebaker club has it's annual meeting here every few years. Many are completely stock. Many are mildly customized. Many are heavily modified. All are welcome and enjoyed.

Same here, and way too many pre-1955 cars get that treatment.
Never had a Studebaker, the company went under right around the time I turned 16. Back then I just thought they were a weird car, but in the late 70s I worked with a guy who was a fan and had several of them (and a few that were just parts cars). How about a 63 Studebaker Lark R2 (slower than the R3) VS a 67 GTO 400 H.O. in a pure stock drag race? These little cars were giant slayers.

Watched the original Italian job last night. Besides the great British iron, all the funky Italian cars are so cool, and of course a Miura.
