What model replaced the B7800?
What model was the replacement for the
B7800? And was there a replacement for that model? I haven't been paying attention over the years.
I have a
B7800 but might be interested in one with a loader but no mower. Mine has a mower, but no loader since a loader with mower would be awkward when mowing around the house. The
B7800 for me is well made, is neither too big or too small, has no problems and four cylinders that purr with power.
Any info appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Good question. Not sure.
I had a
B2910, lost it in a fire.
B3030 replaced it.
They are a nice size. I didn't have an FEL. Only a mmm.
Curious to hear from the more Kubota educated than you and I.

I'd say the
B3350 is the closest thing to the
B7800 in the current lineup.
I've had my
B7800 for almost 11 years and in that time the only replacement items were front tires (one blew out a sidewall), battery and misc rubber items such as pedal covers and floor mat. The desert sun is hard on rubber.
I agree that for me it is the perfect size.
The
B3200 was the replacement for the
B7800.
I'm not sure that there is a current model that is.
Like Jay says,
B2650 or
B3350,but you're into "deluxe" territory with them.
The
B3200 replaced the
B7800, the closest current model to the
B3200 is the
B3350SU, a budget version of the
B3350 which is considered a "deluxe" B.
I had always considered the
B2920 as the replacement for the
B7800, but it looks like both the
B2920 and
B3200 could be considered replacements. The replacement for the
B2920 was the the
B2601.
Also the
B2620 is the same as the
B2920 other than 3 less HP. Both models ran from around 2008 to 2015.
If I were buying new in this size tractor, I would give heavy consideration to the
B2650.
The
B7800 and
B3200 both have larger tires and are longer/wider then the
B2620 & 2920.
The
B2601 replaced the
B2620, there wasn't a replacment for the
B2920 in the new models.
The Bxx50 are comparable in size to the
B3200 but with more features, with the exception of the slightly stripped down
B3350SU model.
If you don't need the PTO hp I would be looking at the
B2650
The
B7800 rear tires are 1.2 " wider and the tractor is 4 inches longer than the
B2920.
The
B2920/
B2620 are identical tractors other than the 3 HP, so yes, the
B2920 was replaced by the
B2601. If that were not the case the
B3200 couldn't be considered a replacement for the
B7800 because the
B3200 has 2 more HP.
