What % off MSRP is comon in today's market?

IslandTractor, if you want an MSRP on your Kioti, go to the Bobcat Manufacturer's site and input your tractor's specs. Afterall, a Bobcat is just a Kioti painted white and rebranded.

MSRP may be a starting place, but the deck is stacked in the dealer's favor because the manufacturer is the one giving the price and they're not out to stiff the dealers.

Me, I'd like to know how much the tractor cost to manufacture, how much to ship to the dealer, how much the company charged the dealer for the tractor and transportation, and what the dealer's overhead costs per tractor are.

You see, I'm an old fashioned kind of guy and fee that a 10% profit each time something changes hands is a reasonable markup; and the way to a good deal is to eliminate unnecessary middlemen. That doesn't mean eliminating middlemen who add something of value to me.

So is that 10% above dead cost? 10% above dead cost, plus freight, set-up, etc.? 10% above dead cost, plus freight set-up, etc. plus dealer overhead? 10% above what?
