What size box blade to buy

I have a M4800 Kubota 50 hp 4x4 looking at buying a 8 foot box blade do youll think it can handle it or should i go with a 6 foot thanks for any help

Get the 6 foot size. The general rule seems to be to have it just a bit wider than the tires on your tractor.

I have always been told to buy a box blade that is the same width as your tractor and no more than one size larger in width. If you need to go to the 8' in my opinion you would probably be better off getting a scrape blade that is 8' if needing to smooth 8' at a time.

I have a 6' on my dk35. It handles it no problem grading my driveway. I'm sure your machine will have no problems with it.

I agree with those saying 6 ft. your tractor may handle an 8 but you will make that 50 horse snort with the 6.General rule just a bit wider than wheel widht.

I just ordered a 7 foot for my L5030. My dealer said an 8 footer would work, but would be at the outer limits of its capability. I didn't want to tax my tractor or worry about hanging it up on something from sticking out to far.

I go with the others get a BB same or next size large than your tractor.
