As I said in past posts I really like the new sound system but when you sit in the seat and look up towards the roof to see the clock That's not coming up in the stereo head and you realize you got some figuring to do to see it I just say to myself "good lord I got to do something about this".
The manufacture should have had one button dedicated to the system that you could push to get the time.
I have the iPhone but I still have to pick it up and hit a button to get the time to display. I know all of this is no big deal but with the new clock/watch it's so convent and I think it adds that custom look to the cab. When I found the clock I noticed the thermometer and decided to add that as well. I just think it's so cooooool! LOL
These are the easiest to attach. You can get them in different sizes. You need to measure the pipe your putting them on then contact the seller to see if you can get the right size. I know you can get them for 1" pipe and a few other sizes. Mine happened to be 1". They have a very nice chrome finish on them and come with there own Alan key plus a spare battery for the clock. It takes longer to remove them from the box than it do to install them. Just slide it on the pipe and tighten the set screw on the bottom of the base. Remember. These were designed for motorcycles so the elements shouldn't bother them and where you place them they will stay in place providing you have the right one for the right size of pipe.
We all seem to grumble and complain when we buy something from a company or a seller if we didn't feel we were treated right. In this case the people I purchased these items from were about the nicest folks I've run into in a very long time so I thought it was worth mentioning. Thanks for your comments and posts.
