To me 285's are a nice overall upgrade to a better tire. They're only slightly larger than a typical stock tire so you won't heighten your rear axle ratio much, they're only slightly wider without being too wide where they start putting excess stress on drive train components, and they're only marginally higher priced than most stock sized tires.
Are these the biggest tires you can put on a dually diesel with stock rims?
