What tires work best in the snow for my Kubota BX- turf or R4's?

I've been using turfs with chains for the last two winters. Absolutely love that combo. Putting my chains on tomorrow.

I have turfs on my BX25 that I use with rear chains and a ballast box during the Winter. My 60" Kubota front plow works great so far. The only thing that I have noticed is that if I am on a bit of an uphill side slope, the rear wheels will drive and push, but the fronts won't bite and turn, they just spin while being pushed sideways. This only happens in one particular spot where I have to turn uphill pretty sharp to get onto the driveway. I considered front chains, but spreading sand works for front traction and a bag should last all Winter when that situation occurs.

Turfs on my 4010 worked great in the snow.

I would use turf tires and have a set of snow chains if needed. The turf tires being smoother helps to keep the snow chains engaged in the snow or ice than the R4 tires.
