Why do you think i kept asking you how you planed on getting the full drum from down by the house up to the area where you keep the tractor?

'cause you have 7000+ post count and I only have 20?

You may want to checkout "Mr Funnel". It is supposed to remove water and other junk quite readilly. Might rescue the bottom dregs. Check website video. I haven't used it but got idea here in other posts. Good luck

Would take forever to filter 500 gallon with a Mr filter.
He needs a pump and the filter just for what he's wanting to do.
I'm not knocking Mr. Filter :
I have one my self - it's fine for 5 to 20 gallon.
