Muscle cars, or (most) pre-smog era cars are in demand, and the OP shouldn't have any trouble finding a good home for it, even in ratty condition.

My whole point simply worded

What I wouldn't give to get back that 72 cuda me and my cousin worked on after we sold it for like 2k and we thought we were the smartest and richest guys in the world.

No doubt my buddy Dave is kicking himself from time to time selling his 72 Roadrunner.

Still remember helping Steve working at the gas station at 0200 on weekend nights (gas station open 24/7 at the time) on his 71 Monte Carlo.

Convertibles always have a market and if rust isn't a factor many would love to have it...

Even rusted hulk's have value as parts cars.

We are all tryin to guess what model of Ford big block you have. I am not so sure about that C3 Transmission though. I thought the big block 460's were mated with C6 tranny's. Could be wrong. I don't think the 460 was ever put in a Mustang. Would have needed a shoehorn. I was thinking more like T-bird or something.

Actually c6 sounds right, come to think of it idk what a c3 is.

Car is a Ford Galaxie. Pretty sure originally it had a 390, but it's now got a 460. I got it from a fellow in BC who did 1/8th mile drags; we made a couple driveability changes (rear end gear, torque converter, got rid of the ratchet shifter) and put a new top on it (in '98 or '99).

Find a local car club and give it to them. Have them sell it and split the price. They are always looking for a way to make some money to help the club.

C4 was a common automatic also for Ford. A 390 convertible isn’t going to bring huge money like a Shelby Mustang but I think you would be surprised as to the demand. Post up some pics and I would make a wild guess as to the value.
