What tools in tractor toolbox?

Turns out I have had that fence tool for years. Don't know where I got it, but I've found it very useful for lots of stuff.

I keep a few pliers, pins,....and a 357 Magnum Revolver in my fender box.

It seems that every farmer has vise grip pliers, duct tape, bailing wire and a heavy hammer in his tool box. A pair of spare sunglasses in a hard case comes in handy too.

I would put screwdrivers, crescent wrench,regular pliers,hammer, lock pliers, socket set,wire cutters, needle nose pliers, some wire for tying things together. Hope this helps...

About the tractor: the field is in the middle of nowhere (no pole barn or other structures on the property).

I can't pass up the opportunity to point out that the classic " farmer's tool" is indeed a big adjustable wrench. It's a hammer, a pry bar , and how else can you expect to round off those bolt heads and skin your knuckles too ? ( Just a little humor.)

Folding allen wrench set; and remember your bolts are metric.

Exactly, and that is why I carry a metric crescent wrench, a metric pry bar and a metric hydraulic jack.
