What tractor?

I think I would go with Soundguy’s advice, your going to take a bath on your Kubota. If you’re not in Kubota country anymore nobody is going to give you anything near what it is worth. I would just keep it and go and but a used 2 wheel drive with no FEL or with if you find 1 and go from there. The money you loose in trade is probably what you will pay for another one used

Another option for bale moving is a two wheeled trailer apparatus with a hydraulic cylinder operated bale stabber on the back. You hitch it to your tractor, hook up the hydraulics to your rear remote. Now the trailer carries the bale and all the tractor does is pull it. Several farmers in my area use these when they don't want to carry the bale in the back of their truck or on their tractor. I hate to see someone trade tractors just to move a few bales of hay a year. :(

If ya don't have hyds ( many small tractors don't have SCV's, then the bale stabber with a manual or electric winch is a good substitute.

I'd keep the little tractor as they are handy & skips wanting a skid steer.

Since your'e on the river do you need a livestock permit?

Snowblowing a long drive takes awhile. How about some speedier options ATV with snowblade, old 4x4 pu with snow blade.

Cousin uses an ATV & only breaks out the old iron tractor blower for the heavy snows or when the hwy plow berm gets iced over. I use a 4 yard loader bucket on a 55 PTO cabbed tractor.
