Hey Chipperman, Can you give me advice on a good loader for my 5245 ?? what loader is mostly fitted to the 5245, and how much will it lift ??

Is this a Branson too ??

It seems to be a big loader for a compact..

By the way, i thought Humpolecke strojirny was renamed Trac-Lift when they got a contract with Fendt, they make the loaders that are factory mounted on Fendt varios.. but Fendt doesn't want it mentioned.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Michiana Jim.... Not sure I buy the story about you covering for someone who was supposed to be at work, but somehow ended up at the tractor show . I am thinking maybe one of these guys was in the witness protection program maybe? Anyway, not to be outdone .... I thought I'd post a picture of sassafraspete.

Chipperman -

The black grille and stripe do look good. I'm a bit confused by what I have read here, and by looking at the photos, about the actual red color. Is this the same red that Century has been using all along, or is it a bit more orange than before?

Another comment on the appearance. For what it's worth, I do not like the choice of "font" for the lettering. That stencil effect looks pretty cheesy. I hope they come up with something better.

I hope they also would decide to move the headlights to the top of the grille, instead of the bottom. I know it would make things a little tighter inside the grille, but it looks like you have to unlatch it to do much of anything in that area as it is.

Has American Jawa come up with a press release (or some other document) yet that explains why this name change makes any kind of sense? Also, I'm curious what more is behind the name change. Is there a new marketing agreement or arrangement between Kukje, Zetor and American Jawa? It seems that we've gotten a lot of speculation from various sources and little in the way of definitive information from American Jawa.

The Century, by whatever name, is still tops on my list as I look forward to buying a tractor. If I could afford to buy today, that's what I would get without hesitation. I expect that I will be buying when I get my truck paid for in late 2005, if not before.

Well, I guess I did make it to the tractor show at Louisville afterall !! Me and my brother Daryl and my other brother Daryl. Whew.... from the first pictures you sent I thought Century dealers were just fading away fast. Now I see it was really a Cummins guy fading out. Come to think of it, this whole thread is getting pretty blurry. OK, seriously after laughing my head off....literally it seems.... I got to thinking that Michiana Jim just has WAY to much time on his hands. He should be out there selling some new tractors!! Good job with the graphics Jim.
