I have a few to mention....

1) A nice (but rusty) pond scoop for $90 made by A & B EagleLine (sold new for about $500, that's what A & B told me anyway). It was found on a local market bulletin put out by our state dept of ag. I cleaned the pond scoop up, painted it, and then wound up trading even for a Leinbach cultivator.

2) A brand new standard duty boom pole for $35 from a local tractor repair shop that was going out of business.

3) A 7ft x 9 John Deere Van Brunt grain drill (in not too bad of a shape but needed some work) that was given to me by a neighbor who just wanted it out of the barn he was fixing up. Their family got out of farming years ago. I sold it for $250.

4) Just missed a three for one deal on CL for an old John Deere disc harrow ($100), a 50 gal 3pt sprayer with 8ft booms and PTO pump ($250), and a set of 3pt forks with adjustable width ($100). Could have probably gotten all three for about $400 or less. The ad came out on Monday, I finally called yesterday and all three were sold on Wednesday. Should have called last Tuesday, but I could have only gotten the sprayer and the forks in my truck. My trailer is 70 miles from here, so that's why I hesitated on calling.

5) Bought a Howse 4ft landscape rake for $100 off of CL, sold it through CL for $150 I believe. Been a few years ago so not real sure now.

6) Oh yeah, bought my 2001 790 through CL for $9700!!! Best deal yet!! Right after I called about it, another buyer called the seller but he said it had a sale pending. This other buyer started offering more money trying to get him to back out on me, but the seller was a man of principles and held it for me till I got there!!

An 8 foot Killefer disc. Free. One gang needed to be replaced after a couple of years of use but it was a VERY good deal.

There have been many over the years. A Farmall H for $200.00. Tune up and oil change, then baled hay with it.

Farmall M with M&W .060 overbore kit, $600.00. Two plug wires were crossed the day of the auction, and would not start. Even had a working AM fender radio.

TO-20 Ferguson, with 7 implements. Just overhauled by the local JVS, $800.00. Owner said it smoked bad, and thought the kids put the oil rings on top, and was pumping oil. House went into foreclosure, so was selling things cheap. Took it home, and started it... Black smoke... Pulled the oil bath air filter bottom off, and was filled with a mouse nest. Cleaned, and new oil... Ran like a top.

Too many others to list, other than my last purchase week before last. An Olathe 50" Slit seeder. Not pretty from setting outside for a number of years, but complete. The cutters, and disc's were my main concern, plus the interior of the seedbox. As you can see in the pictures, all complete, and inside of seedbox decent, for $100.
