When I think of White I think of the early merger tractors. Or the big articulated models.
The 4-115 is one my favorite, especially the sound of the 2stroke detroit.32cbe8609d2781f84123ef46bd15c6c9.jpeg

In the early '70s there was a 40 at Corunna and Linden Rds in Flint often seen worked worked by a big White articulated, surely a first gen 4-150 with Cat V-8 power. Now that corner bears MI State Police post, an empty Lowe's, two mini-malls and a drugstore. Few tractors by the roadside were as memorable as that silver beast we city kids thought was beyond cool compared to the Corvettes, Cobras, and XKEs we dreamed of. (still <$10k ea back then)

This not-so-old White looks the same to many of us. (newer 'red stripe') Most of the big articulateds in the Saginaw Valley are Deere anymore and likely leased vs owned. (Not sure tracks add to 'sex appeal' on the few seen.) White had abandoned Cockshutt's red, Oliver's green, and "Mini-Mo's" gold paint long after consolidating the brands. Silver would remain White's trademark color, including their homeowner stuff into the '90s.

How about new iron.

This is the sexiest new tractor I've ever saw. If this doesn't please the eye then you aren't a tractor guy.
