what was your first tractor?

1Kubota B7100; about 1600 hours on the clock. Bought it yesterday!
The tractor came with a rear mower unit (useless to me) and a trashy utility blade that only works sort of. It's some kind of three-point hitch that's smaller than the class 1 on the Kubota.
The tractor runs, but starts slow and there seems to be blowby coming out of the crankcase; slight amount of smoke, nothing serious, just noticeable. I'm thinking I'll do what I can this year and in Summer/Fall think of rebuilding the engine. Tranny seems strong, hydraulics are good, PTO works fine, 4WD seems to work OK. I'll do routine maintenance and learn how to use a tractor on it. I plan on getting a tiller for the old tractor. Should work; I tilled some of the land last year with a walk-behind.

First one I ever operated was an Oliver 77 Row Crop on the dairy farm I used to work on in the summer. The first one I owned, and still do, is a 1947 8N, it's scheduled for an engine rebuild this summer but it sure has been a reliable work horse. The first new one I've owned is my Kioti DK35. Also have had a MF85 and an Oliver Cletrac.

The first tractor I ever used was a 1939 John Deere H, which was my fathers. The first tractor I ever bought was a Ford 2110, I since bought a Ford 1710, Ford 7710 and a Ford New Holland 8970. All are 4x4.

First one I remember driving not tall enough to push in clutch ,or press the brake pedals was a Farmall Super A. My Uncle was standing on the tongue behind me making sure I didn't hit anything and so we could stop the tractor when we came to the gate opening. Well didn't get stopped in time put a hole in the radiator when I tore out the fence post and Uncle lost his hat. I think I was 5 or 6 yrs old. His only commit "Now don't worry we can fix the tractor and that fence post just got in your way"
