My first tractor was a 1953 Ferguson TO30. I was 13 and it was just 7 years old. I went to work with it, plowing gardens and bush hogging. It paid for my first car.

My first NEW tractor is still here. In 1971 I bought this Massey Ferguson 150 diesel.

The first tractor I operated was my dad's '51 Farmall Cub, which he bought almost new. My first tractor is a 1954 NAA Ford. I think I paid more for it 9 years ago than it cost new.

That's an awesome tractor FWJ.

Does a JD 210 garden tractor count?

Depends on what you call "my" tractor. My first tractoring experience was on a 1940 John Deere L that my Dad bought in 1951 or '52, so I was 11 or 12 years old. The picture is not the one we had, but a picture found on the Internet that looks just like the one we had.

The first one I actually owned was a 1995 Kubota B7100, but I don't have a picture of it. Then I owned the 1999 Kubota B2710.

An uncle, who was a real full time farmer, had two Case tractors and I spent a little time on them one summer in the early '50s. Then when I was a teenager working in Dad's service station, I did some tire repairs, and also got to occasionally drive an Oliver in the late '50s that belonged to the Mobil distributor. When my wife and I worked at an RV resort in Virginia, I used an old Ford tractor a good bit. Then in the mid to late '90s, I worked for a rancher neighbor cutting, baling, and moving hay and used a 50 hp White and an 85 hp Oliver.

I think what started it all for me was when I was 5-8 my dad used to bring our family up to eagle lake in northern maine every year, he's from Fort Kent and visited every summer for a couple of weeks. The campground used to give rides on the little cart they used to deliver fire wood to the campsites. My brother and I would ride on top of the wood every night. The tractor was a little garden tractor, probably a ford or craftsman. But man was that fun, I can still, over 35 years later, remember the route the tractor would take through the campground.

My first tractor was a 1953 case 310C crawler loader. Then a Kubota B6000E (terrific tractor, had two of them, one with TLB), then a JD 350B dozer with six way, then my Kioti LK3054XS. And they all lived at my house on 3.5 acres. My neighbors think I'm a little odd, but, hey, it sure beats drinking or getting into some other sort of trouble. Although these things have their own trouble.

I like these sort of posts.

When my wife and I bought our current house, which had been empty for five years, I realized in about five minutes we would need a tractor to help get the place in shape. I found a mint Yanmar YM186D, and the sickness began............................... :):)

I'm 13, the first trac-well, I wouldn't really call it a tractor, was a 19.5hp tractor when I was 9. I gave that to my cousin. Then I got a Cub Cadet 1450 hydro. That has to be one of the most problem causers ever. I really don't use either of these anymore. I'm looking into a Deere CUT now.

The first tractor I drove was our John Deere 400 garden tractor when I was 3.

Now, I know all of our 11 tractors, 4 antiques, all like the back of my hand. I can drive one of the Ford hydros(TC30, 1520, 1620) or '52 AC B through the trail in the woods, pitch black, no lights, while towing a 20ft steering front axle trailer at halloween, loaded with scared, screaming 3-12 yo. :D

My first tractor was an IH 340 w/ an FEL, not sure of the year but it's around the early - mid 60's. My father bought it for $500, with the only downside being that it needed to have the engine rebuilt. Except for that, everything worked fine. It's been great ever since, still works hard to this day, and I will always remember the fun I had on it during my childhood. 3 years ago I ended up inheriting it after my father suddenly passed away.

Up until recently in the past 3 years, my grandfather has found more use for it than I have. The combination of needing 2 FEL tractor's instead of having to move 1 back and forth, and something to replace the 1972 IH Cub I regularly used to cut grass with, prompted me to purchased a new tractor.

Now I also have a 2006 JD 3320 in my arsenal, as well as a few Wheel Horse tractors that I recently started collecting.:D

My first big tractor was a 1953 Super C Farmal. I liked that tractor, but it did not have power steering. These old muscles couldn't handle it any more, so I sold it. Then I bought
a John Deere 4110 in 2004 and still have a soft spot in my heart for my Red Baby. elad

The first tractor I drove was a Farmall H. It was my dad's and I was around 5. The first tractor I owned was an 8N.

My first tractor was a 1941 9N. We had that a little less than a year and then bought a Kubota L2500. Had that tractor about 8 years and then bought the Kubota L4400, which we've had a little over a year.

As a kid, my dad had a 1951 Farmall cub that I got alot of seat time on.
