What weight hydraulic fluid do you use for your HST?

I use ISO 32.

I use the universal fluid that meets the Kubota specs which I believe is ISO 32. Some of the older tractors like my first tractor (1984 Yanmar) used ISO 46. I don't know of any that used ISO 68.

I use Tractor Supply Companies 10W30 ISO 46 Premium Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid in my 5035 HST, and my 2555 HST will get the same....

I guess I spoke without reading the question correctly as I have a sst geared 4035 not HST. I have used the shell product in 3 different Mahindra's but all geared tractors.

JD carries 2 different viscosities. I use the lightest.

The oil will not evaporate and will work as long as it's there; so light weight in summer or extreme heat is no problem. Need low vis to keep from building too much pressure in the winter.

My Mahindra dealer recommended and sells (right next to the Mahindra brand oil) Coastal Multitrac Tractor Hydraulic Fluid made by Warren Oil, the same company that makes many oils for other manufacturers including Mahindra. It is also sold at AutoZone and is just under $50 for a 5 gallon pail.
